What to Wear...
You've picked the date and time so the next step is what do you wear. Let us take away your stress by sharing these simple steps and even some examples of great looks that deliver to your doorstep!
All About the Mama
Mamas, pick your outfit first! You will want to love these photos and that all starts with loving what you are wearing!
You work so hard to get the session scheduled around all the family members so let us help you feel your best and get your family dressed too! Find something you love whether you're all about dresses or you prefer a more casual, cute look. For dresses, we recommend long and flowy dresses that you can move in.
During our sessions, you're moving and interacting with others the whole time. Whether it's chasing your child around or throwing them in the air, you want to be able to move. But don't worry, we'll give you time to shine and work that dress with all it's glory too!
If you prefer a more casual and chill look, we recommend loose tops that cinch in at your waist and flow down below. A nice top that has a belt is always great to flatter your torso and not hug any areas that us mamas don't want.

Dressing Dads
You've got your favorite outfit selected for you and now it's time to dress dad. Let's make it easy and simple. Khakis or dress pants are great "goto" looks for dads to dress up the look of the family photos. For a more casual look, dark jeans are also very nice and photograph well. For the top, we recommend solid button down shirts preferably neutral tones like creams, grays, whites, etc. A great way to dress up dad's look is adding accessories like vests, suspenders, watches, ties, bowties, etc.

Clothing for Kiddos
To keep it simple, we recommend coordinating their looks with the parents so keep the same color palette and keep it comfy for the kids. If the girls are in dresses, make sure they can run, twirl, move around in it and there are no itchy fabrics inside the dress. For the boys, match their pants to dads and pick a coordinating color to go with the color palette. Also make sure no clothing items are "too tight" so they are comfortable to move around during the session.
